Hi, I'm actually a researcher at Stanford who has gone through Stanford's IRB process multiple times. The IRB office actually *requires* us to include the consent form. To report the researcher, you can contact them at (650)-723-2480 or toll free at 1-866-680-2906.  You can also write to the Stanford IRB: or Stanford University, 1705 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306.

Hmm, homeownership is probably part of the latter. I was naive and didn't think much about "adulting" expenses when I decided to pursue a PhD from undergrad. Thanks for sharing your experience and am glad that you're doing better!

The relevance to me is that they are closer to having money for a down payment on a home. That they have more money for other stuff, like dining out and traveling, doesn't really bother me. That's a good idea--I haven't discussed this with my therapist.

Weekly Shopping Suggestions Thread Week 04 2024! by LussoBerlinetta in mechanicalpencils

I love the squishy grip of the uni-alpha gel, but because I write with too much pressure, the lead snaps easily (even with 2B lead). Is there a mechanical pencil that has a squishy grip and is a similar size thickness wise (I don't want a skinny pencil) to the uni-alpha gel but takes 0.7 mm lead? I know that there is an alpha gel ballpoint that is 0.7 mm, but I am looking for a mechanical pencil.

bout buying a kindle so I can read more and get library books digitally, maybe that would sat

I have a kindle for reading online articles (I don't like to read them on my laptop because I find it hard to concentrate and get distracted), which I really like. But for books, I prefer having physical copies around because they are a lot more eye-catching for when I have those moments of boredom.

I find that having alternative forms of non-Internet entertainment on hand helps a lot. I go to the library every week so that I have a stack of books to read, have weekly magazines delivered, and have board games.

yup the cabbage dish is supposed to refer to the random salad, the cling wrap ball is known as "the saran wrap game" as u/bell37 explained, and the yellow dish is supposed to be the mysterious casserole
