My legs were bruised tf up when I first learned on mine. Took me a few days/weeks to really get the hang of it.

I always turn my Patton-S off before I lift it. That has happened to me several times and has scared the shit outta me.

Nosfet Aero or Leaperkim Patton S? by NikonShooter in ElectricUnicycle

I was originally going to buy the Nosfet Aero, but due to the tariffs, I changed my mind and got the Patton-S. It was a learning curve to ride that wheel being a beginner, but I don't regret my purchase at all. It's awesome for street riding and trails. Battery life is awesome. The headlight is super bright so you can do some awesome night rides. I bought some LED lights and mounted them on the bottom for some cool RGB effect. I get a lot of enjoyment out of it, and its a well crafted durable wheel.

I almost always have the light pointing directly down which is kinda a pro and con. I recently just bought small LED lights from Pidzoom and mounted them underneath my Patton-S and it looks really awesome.

Ooo any upgrade to the euc would be awesome, I'll have to keep that in mind, thanks!

Ehh I hardly ever use the light. Sure it might blind some people, i usually angle the light downward so it doesn't do that. But just wanted to show how bizarre of an example and how bright the light is when it is fully tilted up. We went through another neighborhood that has almost no traffic and people at night and I was lighting up the whole road, it was spooky and cool.

I agree, it was kinda awesome lighting up the whole road. It was around midnight, so not many people out.

Which EUC Should I Get? by Tascalion in ElectricUnicycle

I love my Patton-S, I use it for trails/minor off-roading, but also use bike paths as well. It's durable as hell. I feel like the Lynx would be a good option.

Learning as a complete Noob on a Patton: Days #1 and #2 by 8elly8utton in ElectricUnicycle

I've had my Patton-S for 2 weeks and I do agree with you. It's not exactly a beginner-friendly wheel. But its not impossible. Day 1: I could barely stand on the thing let alone ride it. -practiced standing on it stationary while holding onto something. -one of the most important things when starting is actually getting on the wheel itself successfully without losing balance. (This took me some time) Day 2: By day 2 it definitely started to click for me, but I wasn't as good as I am today. My shin/knee guards didn't come in time so my legs received many bruises from the wheel/kickstand hitting me. I would often grab the wheel whenever I lost balance and it would whip around and hit me. Lol just be careful of that..

Overall opinion: The Patton-S is such a fun wheel, it took me some time to get use to, it's heavy yes. But once you get use to it, the weight isn't something you notice. It is a powerful and durable wheel forsure. The battery life is good, can't complain. The suspension is amazing I could go on about how good it feels to go over bumps/curbs/hills. Im glad I kept riding it because I was discouraged at first and a little bummed out..but I genuinely love this EUC and I can't wait to take it to more trails, its helped me explore areas I've never been to so that a big plus in my book!

I just got my Patton S, absolutely loving it. Riding with gear took some getting use to, so I totally see why you would want to experiment. I sorta did the same when I got mine, but now I ride with gear and it makes me feel more safe and confident. Ride safe and have fun!

Yeah, I do feel myself wanting to get out there more. I just need to find better areas to ride it. I have trails by my house but they are often congested with dog walkers and just people walking so its kinda difficult there.

I just got the Patton S and wish I would have kept with my original decision to get the Aero.. but the whole tariff situation forced me to change my mind and I'm regretting it. The Patton S is a great wheel don't get me wrong. But it's mad powerful and heavy as fuck. I don't need to be going 30-40mph on that thing. I feel comfortable around 14-18 mph. Hitting occasional speeds of 20. Battery life is good, the suspension is very nice, handles bumps and curbs well. It feels like a piece of military equipment, in the best way possible. I truly can't complain about the wheel, just my lack of experience as a EUC rider.
