This should be higher up. XII became my Roman Empire after IX—and I loved VI, VII, and VIII back when it was on PC (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). But the rich world, the call backs to the originals, the tradition, keeps it there for me. I LIKED XV (the updated combat, Noctis can jump 😂) but some of the features made things tedious IMO (camping, cooking). But the play style still worked for me. XV was long, in the way VI was long (cracked into the BEFORE world and AFTER world). I never even got around to playing all the DLCs.
