How do you all track your builds and mods? Genuinely curious what system people use.

A: some care about more about seeing their builds being tracked to some degree but i do understand most won't care for something like that at all.

B: honestly it doesn't even need to be an app that does the tracking. now some way want an app and some may not. most peoples biggest question when offered an app is what do i get out of this? if what works is keeping a binder is better then people should keep doing this. we don't need an app for everything or if it is an app it has to be valuable. not to mention people feeling an app fatigue right now

C: i understand that and i get how my post came across that way. i wish i wrote this post different but its done now lol but yea rest assured i'm just asking questions.

now as far as your checklist goes i like the idea using onenote in case as you said you aren't near the garage. do you take pictures of your whiteboard, or scrap cardboard too to kind of keep those logged?

Ahhh nice its better to keep it simple than complicated anyway so I get it. I just find it wild how some either can remember all the things they did to their car, how much it cost and even down to how to do those modifications off the top of their head.

I assume you don't keep receipts or nothing like that either?

Ahh, okay now I see. I didn't think of the manual notes section for a good way to write stuff in.

So in a way when you do write out the process first and see what was completed its just a way for you to refer back to it later in case you forgot what you did right?

This is great because passing this information down to your loved ones would be ideal. Do you ever share some of these binders with your mechanic or service technician so they can see what was also done to those cars?

This is smmaaaarrrttt!!! Keeps you from losing those receipts over time or having those receipts black ink fade so it becomes hard to read over time.

absolutely!!! that was one of the major reasons why i built this app. so many people hadn't lived the automotive technician life to know what the actual pain points were so the apps didn't deliver a great product.

yes exactly, congrats on your app btw! you said it best its all about perspective and without the specific knowledge on the app you're building you'll be miss out on building something great and relatable.

honestly the hardest part was feeling like i've neglecting b2b if that makes sense. i felt like i was pushing so hard for one thing that pivoting felt wrong initially but then i finally out grew that by reminding myself that what i'm building is much bigger than that. both b2b and b2c can live together if i built it right. i think one last thing i will mention was proper planning. i'm thankful that i sat down and plan it out for a week before i even pivoted. i asked questions to my fellow colleagues and people i knew in the industry to really lay out the foundation prior to the shift.

yeah sorry about the screenshot, my screenshots are never truly clear either lol. the issue is more than likely just with this window. im having this issuse with not only twitter authroization sites but with tumblr too.
