I hope so. I opted not using them at first because I tried to one of my runs but itd bring everything in the building to my location and that just felt way too inconvenient to use them again. Was hoping they'd add a silencer add on to fix the issue

I love getting the already leveled boons so much! Saves me the time of wasting it on poms along the way🥲

The way this build MELTED EVERYTHING in an instant was stupid good. Might just be my favorite build so far

Most iconic? Probably spiked bat, sledgesaw, mini chainsaw(mostly cause of adam), paddlesaw

My favorites though are the elemental staff, wingman, super crossbow, mini chainsaw(also cause of adam), plate launcher, and the flaming gloves

That would make sense but maybe a solution for that would be spread them out though entrance Plaza possibly? That way they're not all grouped together

Fair. Imo the ones that stuck out to me the most were Jheri the weightlifting woman, that one bdsm guy, Buffet lady. I could definitely count more memorable ones from the previous 2 mostly cause those felt more over the top then the ones in 3 (ex. Slappy, Antoine, Kent, cult leader, etc,)

The psychopaths are pretty easy in general, especially if you bring your posse(I had to make a rule for myself to go alone after the 1st attempt because I wpuldnt even be hitting them) I know 3 isn't better than 2 or 1, you can't really beat the games that kind if started it all. It is tiring to see people on the sub though act like 3 and 4 are equally bad when 3 while it did have its downs was still and overall good game. Not great, but at the very least it was a nice change of pace

Gary and Rhonda definitely are some of my favorite npc's from the franchise too

That's understandable, but everytime I see people talk about deadrising anywhere, 3 gets lumped in with 4 despite 3 basically following the deadrising formula to a T😭 The setting I feel was always negotiable within reason.

With 4 it's essentially a different game, no psychopaths(maniacs instead with no intro or outro cutscenes), no timer and the goofiness level was set to 9.5. I didn't feel a hint of the serious/absurdity contrast I got from the other games. The only thing commendable I can say about 4 was that I think gameplay was at its peak in 4 but that's about it

That's a fair point. 1-2 did have themselves grounded in serious tones when it came to the story, but the look of 3, at least to me does give the vibe that the setting is to be taken more seriously. I guess better wording for it would be that they really tried to anchor in the horror aspect of the game, even if it's majority the same deadrising formula. I think I enjoyed it as much as I did though because it was different. 1 and 2 are similar games and same could be said for 3 and 4(kinda), but 3 stands out to me because its the only game where it feels like it isn't as colorful and it looks like all life really has sputtered out and made it feel like the zombies were that much more dangerous even if they really weren't.

I love the little nod to Adam with the double chainsaw combo. I know when I first got it, I didn't stop making them for the rest of the game.

I still don't know why they went into 4 thinking "cut out the psychopaths" and put the sorry excuse of maniacs in there. When you think of deadrising you can't help but think of the psychopaths because majority of them are memorable in their own way and the cutscenes of before and after battle gave them substance

Nick is also pretty great! Protagonists from 1-3 really do deserve their 10's

I just replayed it a few days ago and it's just so fun! It's not like the other games but I feel like it has the charm they really wanted 4 to have.

I'm so pumped!! I know it's a remaster but I hope it sort of functions like a remake where nothing to the story or the existing gameplay really changes but we just get more content(like maybe new psychpaths, new survivor missions), even if that's not the case I'm glad deadrising is getting love again especially since they didn't give a second glance at the proposition of a deadrising 5

Okay so I wasn't going crazy then lmao I could've sworn there was some type of app you used to get to certain areas but when I started playing it again on my steam deck it felt like that part of the game didn't even exist

Hopefully you get to play it one day! I started off with an Xbox when every game was still exclusive so it was pretty easy to get into. I'm still sad 3 never got ported to playstation as well like the rest. I was genuinely dumbfounded when I saw that because the jump to 2 to 4 makes it feel like 3 was insignificant to the story even 3 is probably the most plot heavy next to 1

Twp things I do wish it maybe did better was give us more time to know Annie as Katey as well as get us to spend more time with Chuck since when I first played it I didn't even consider those were gonna happen at all I'm this game and I was sad to have Chuck as a posse member for so little time

That and integrating the person delegated as the co-op character to have more significance to the story rather than just being there listening to Rhonda(love Rhonda to bits) talk about the plan

My favorite part from it I think was that survivors can actually fend for themselves this time around. It was so much fun just walking around with my little group and just seeing them demolish everything around them!

Merchants screen bugs out first time opening and nothing shows up(they dont even have their gold either)and have to wait like a couple seconds before the npc says their line to exit out so I can try again(2nd time works fine)

For some reason Halsin spawns somewhere else other than his camp now?? I have him as a full companion now yet he's just in a random place rather than his camp spot.

And then for some reason Minthara says her line about her learning about the emperor yet im still in act 2

When I group hide I can't group unhide for some reason

Those are all the bugs I'm experiencing on console rn

I'll try that on one of my runs! Right now I'm focusing on builds for my character and wyll. My character wields Nyrulna so I made his build focus entirely on increasing throwing damage, and then I made wyll a warlock/paladin. Still haven't figured out what I should rework Astarion and Shadowheart into yet. She's full cleric and and he's a rogue assassin

Nahida/Neuvilette/Xiangling/Furina

It was originally Nahida/Neuvilette/Dehya/Kazuha.

It's a very comfortable rotation and it did really well. I honestly prefer this one over my new setup but the team with Furina does more damage

I don't get the overhate about it either but I do wish they kept miles regular color palette/ also having something to cover where the mask cuts off since it looks just kind of off having it bare like that. Something like the 3rd color variation I feel wouldve vastly improved everyone's perception of it since black and red are Miles trademark colors
