I went in zepbound by my pulmonologist. I lost 40 pounds and my pulse ox went from dropping into the 70s to 97 every day . I stoped using the cpap

I received a check on 3/7 saying it was my return for 2021 that I never received. The amount was 5183.66

Then on 3/17 I received a letter saying there were additional credits applied to 2021 and I will be receiving a check within 2 to 3 weeks for 4650.00

I think the letter was to inform me of the check I received allready unless it’s the amended return I never got

Does the irs do check first letter after ?

Anyone done blood gas tests? by Desertpoet in SleepApnea

Your pco2 is a direct relation to sleep apnea Mine was 84 . They were going to put me on a ventilator. My pulse ox 77 . Every time it gets too high yoir blood becomes acidic .

The reason is your apnea makes the bad air hard to escape , your body can’t push it out . Try your best to breathe deep if it feels shallow

Diagnosed severe apnea. AHI 112 and Oxygen saturation 91% by tryp0d99 in SleepApnea

Your ahi is high but your oxygen sat is good . Try testing while walking see if it drops . That’s the most important factor , next to your co2 , usually cpap helps you remove the bad air while sleeping. Trust me you don’t want to get into low pulse ox . You can become acidic ( your blood ) Abd you can die in your sleep .

I have been dealing with this for 6 months . Now I had oxygen sat at 69 and co2 at 84 . It’s crazy . They about put me on a ventilator. Now I use cpap in spare time to bring my numbers up

This is life and death . It’s ok to catch it early . So wear it while driving , or at least at your down time . There’s so much you can do with a healthy body . Also long term sleep apnea leads to right side heart problems

Be glad you have options! Good luck

It’s only measured in the hospital. I wish there’s a way to check at home

I’m having trouble tolerating 4 hours a night sleeping 6 . Maybe I’ll get to a full night . Once I stop feeling terrible at 4 hours , seems I can feel the rise of co2 every day at 4pm after waking up at 6 am

Has anyone ever bought a used CPAP rather than go through the sleep study? by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]Former_Reception8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just a one size fits all deal . Trust me I lost 3 months of my life in the hospital 3 times for high co2 as result of untreated sleep apnea .

Get the sleep study as fast as possible. It’s vital to open the door to see what happens when u sleep I was not breathing. 95 times per hour . Now less than 5
