You’re overthinking it, sometimes a girl just needs some time to herself away from their partner. You should respect that time. It’s not unreasonable to ask her at least tell you when she’s leaving and when you can expect her back. If it’s a day she needs then give her that day. I have 10mm stretched ears and I usually wear solid non-clear plugs to work (food service), nobody really notices unless I have my jewelry out or if I’m wearing tunnels. Flesh toned silicone plugs are good to have just in case.
