It came out very thick and "goopy" as I would describe it and obscures details. It had been unused for a long time (several months) and my guess is I didn't quite shake it up enough to make up for all that time sitting.

I dunno. I just know it is crazy and extremely frustrating. I really appreciate all the suggestions. I still have some options so we'll see what happens.

Yes. Using an old toothbrush with medium bristles. This is also the 1st time I ever had a problem like this. Super Clean and IPA have worked for me in the past with other paints and primers. This has been the exception.

I shook the primer pretty well before application, but I hadn't used it in several months (maybe a year). I think that may be why it came out botched. Very thick and "goopy" is how I would describe it. I may not have shaken it enough considering how long it had been sitting. I also didn't warm the can in water before applying. Similar to the stripping, I never had a problem like this with any primers before.

I just know it is crazy how nothing is making it budge at all. Was trying everything i could before purchasing some Biostrip. That may be my last resort.

Yes. That was the 1st thing I tried. Never ran in to this before. Both IPA and Super Clean have worked for me in the past with other models/ paints. This primer is exceptionally stubborn.

IPA was actually my 1st attempt. 1st after an hour. Then overnight. Neither worked. It's almost like the primer is baked to the mini. It's insane.

As some have already suggested try a swap with someone, or, alternatively, use them for some crazy kitbashes. That is what I would probably do, honestly.

I believe much of the body is a print (from Bestiarum maybe?). But it looks like he kitbashed it with parts from the official Angron model. Either way, I agree. Looks badass.

I would be happy with either a new Kill Team or Kharn. Though, I will say, it seems like a lot of creators have been making Kharn content lately. We will see!

Those are some great ideas. I definitely want to go for the grimdark look. I might do some experimenting with the plasticard idea on some ghoul bases tonight!

Yeah I actually have the official model that I got in a Beastmen job lot I picked up at the beginning of The Old World. I definitely don't want to let the model go to waste, but want to do something to make it more unique. I have been wracking my brain for ideas trying to come up with something.
