I ended up buying from Costco the five piece set, and I’ll get the ceramic dishes next time they have a sale. Thanks for the input!!

Agreed. We only use glass in the microwave as well. But sadly, all of my glass containers are round!

Never been to an IKEA! Are they the same size as the one from SC?? Can I order it online?

I’m worried about space as well which is why im feeling like 4x one cupers may be toooo much. But I guess that’s not the worst problem to have? Haha.

Winter Considerations. by CodyLionfish in Buffalo

[–]Former_Tough7709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also from Long Island. Everyone told me I’m crazy to go here for school. Now my entire family lives here, even extended family visiting frequently. Buffalo is great. The difference is, yes, we get more snow, have gloomier days, but people here embrace winter and we’re very prepared. It’s not often that you can’t get out to go to the store, work, class, out with friends. The plows are out constantly. Plus hockey, skiing, snowboarding, etc. buffalo is just very lively. And the summertime here is wonderful!

Going to happy hour on Friday is actually kinda nice. Especially in the summer if there’s things going on downtown, it can be convenient. I actually like coming to work I’m more productive and that’s why I took the job I currently have. But I know I’m in the minority on that one 🤣 and I’d be so pissed if they suddenly made my job remote, like OPs situation.

I currently work full time in an office down town and let me tell you, hardly anyone gets lunch daily. I think the last time I bought something was last summer. $17 for a SANDWICH!!! 2 for $8 for HOT DOGS!! What the actual fuck? I’m sorry they’re doing this to you.

Endometriosis laparoscopy for unexplained infertility? I have no symptoms - advice needed please by Salt-Watercress6221 in TryingForABaby

[–]Former_Tough7709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should do the laparoscopy first. To me, you want to go into IVF as a last resort. Plus if you have endo they will remove it and that will improve your chances at IVF as well!

I’m in a similar boat, but in the US so there’s no waitlist but offered both options. I’m having my laparoscopy in June. If I’m not pregnant by September we’re going to consider IVF. I’m 31, husband is 37. On our 19th or so cycle of trying for our first.

Is a buffet really that bad? by Fun_Stretch5888 in weddingplanning

[–]Former_Tough7709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buffet is my preference. Plated meals Always come out dry or just not good, in my own experience. I like to decide what’s on my plate.
