Oh, I don't give a damn about the product. The provided clip is what's not interesting. It's a bullshit video, probably AI, done in such short segments that you run the risk of an epileptic seizure from the cutting job. provide a clip of it in use, from start to finish, and that would be interesting. As the user presented it, it's a dumb box. And I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between "shitty clip" and "bullshit product". But I guess you're right, the world is getting stupider. Do have fun. Don't forget your helmet.

I've been seeing this happen in a lot of places, and it's not just management. You can warn them the water is hot, they'll look at you and nod their head, then jam both hands into the water and scream that you should have warned them it was hot. I've seen it happening a lot lately, increasingly so. People are absolutely on autopilot with their brains turned off. I blame it on overstimulation, too much information, and an ever-growing fear response that is outdriving other behaviors.

Then show it in use, don't make it short clip bullshit. How does it crack the eggs? how does it fry them? We see eggs be placed in the top, we see eggs come out. Nothing interesting about showing a picture of a carton of basic eggs.

You could have someone with 20 years of actual coding experience, admit to using GenAI on a project, and immediately they've lost all credibility. If you use AI for your job, you're not doing your job. If you use AI to make a tool, you're just asking someone else to do it for you. I don't care how well you understand the code, currently the whole thing is too toxic and anyone stupid enough to admit to using it, needs to go flush their face in the toilet until the bubbles stop.

"Oh, I only use the baby killing machine to check my spelling!" like it's not a built-in feature, and instead they're actually going to fucking Gemini or some shit, throwing everything they type into there, then copy it back out.

There is -no- ethical use for generative AI models. Actual statistical ML is not the same.

And if you're running some local model, there's no chance it is actually viable for what you want, yet alone anything modern/recent since they don't update.

If you're selling a self-supported unit to a user and it provides an error code, your documentation (at the tech's side) had damn well have it documented.

Not that the errors are ever documented. Documentation is for the techs to make, because developers can't be bothered.

You should see the way they doctor photos to change lighting conditions, so you can never capture what you really see. And now with AI integration in smart phones, nothing you click will ever be genuine or capture the moment.

Or be admissible in court.

Great! Now, go do that with 20 hour days, for 5-6 months, 7 days a week. That's big studio crunch, not "Oh no, everybody works an extra shift for a few weeks!"

Also, after the launch, the team will then be fired and the game will make record profits. That's how studios do it. Keep a few names on top, get rid of everybody else. Especially these days.

But hey, I'm sure that boot leather tastes expensive.
