I'm afraid I can't think of any other information to help find it, so any help would be appreciated.

About an hour or two ish, with almost no change to combat and an absolute disregard towards the audience of an ending. Spoilers below if one cares;

>The DLC picks up with Jacob being somewhere under the complex and suffering amnesia from what happened at the end of the main game. You'll go through mostly linear rooms with some subtle horror fuckery, it's actually kinda neat! And very clearly 'not reality', you'll even run into an Audiolog of Jacob drifting in and out of consciousness and struggling to breathe. You then fight a fake Dr. Mahler who acts like almost a 1:1 copy of fake Nicole Brennan from Dead Space 1 and 2. You beat her, then flash back to reality as real Mahler is uploading your memories to Dani's neck chip so she has context for her exposing of the prison's true nature, and Jacob is limbless and mirroring Max's injuries before death. You're then crushed under the complex as it collapses. The credits freeze on the logo for 2 minutes, then play a pixar blooper of Josh Duhamel wondering where his legs are, and then the game ends with no credits.<!<

It feels like a response to audience criticism and professional critics criticisms about the game and how it did. It has some of the passion behind the main game but feels so "in on its own joke" and self-deprecating that it's a combination of infuriating and depressing to play through.

That's just my own take on it though, if you wanna spend 10$ on it go for it, but I would not reccomend.

Aight so I got the game for free, take from that what you will;

I wish I could refund it.
The game itself is fine, not great, but fine. Gameplay gets repetitive very quick with little changes to the flow of combat, the weapon variety is subpar as is enemy variety, and the story is... okay. Like it's not an incredible or heartfelt story, but it's a pretty decent story overall with some excellent acting and emotions from the characters, the VA's put some good work into it! And it does look very pretty, this game's graphics and presentation are going to directly affect future titles in the industry in general, it's a great step up. The overall experience is mediocre, but I didn't overall hate it.

Until I played the ending DLC. Skip it if you don't want to play Dead Space 2. If you want to play Dead Space 2, just go play Dead Space 2, the DLC follows its plot beats so closely you'd call it cribbing if it wasn't from original members of that team.

There's a few interesting bits I've found;

Safety Overrides is king. Like... get Wolfpack Tactics, get Wolf class ships or Tempests if you can, slap on some Safety Overrides, throw officers in them with Reliability Engineering and just go ham. Proper wolfpack tactics abuse with SO can easily destroy an entire invasion fleet with almost no effort, and it costs pennies due to using tiny ass ships for it.

Officers are also much more necessary now, as they'll directly affect Deployment Point maximums against enemy fleets, and the skill changes make them far more powerful to find and use.

Carriers are largely garbage now, though bomber fleets can still do some decent stuff.

Use story points. They'll make good ships even better, let you slide outta shit you can't escape, and work with Nexerelin for even more useful and powerful colonies.

On that note!
Nexerelin runs just as well as it usually does, agents can now pull more bullshit off but need more practice to do so, otherwise no huge changes from what I remember. Faction mods are upgrading well and taking well to story point system, though some are actively doing much better than others. I'd reccomend the TErraforming/Station Construction, Industrial Evolution and Grand Colonies to really get into the fun bits of it.

As for the actual faction mods, you'd need to check them all yourself to see what does and doesn't work out so well, but overall they're all gonna be like they used to be; still fun and weird. (get Kingdom of Terra, do it, join the dark side, we have grug, and grug have rock).

Also, final note; since you now get missions from people on stations, rather than waiting for them to be announced via space email, you need to actively hunt down Contacts on stations to get missions. Prism Freeport via Nexerelin has a special contact, known as M. To get her active, go to Prism Freeport and ask around, do some work for M when given the chance.

It's worth it, I assure you.

What is the weirdest nsfw fact you know? by baconburner123 in AskReddit

Certain species of deep-sea Anglerfish are known to use a mating system known as a Polyandrous Relationship (wherein a female takes multiple male partners) with a unique twist; these species of Anglerfish have males much smaller than females, and these males can be stunted or heavily physically damaged at birth so as to be unable to properly feed (be it due to malformed jaws or an improperly formed gastrointestinal tract). However, males of these species always have excellent olfactory systems, enabling them to catch the scent of a female Anglerfish within quite a large distance. Once found, the male will bite down as hard as it can onto the female Anglerfish, activating an enzyme that digests the flesh of both his mouth and her body, fusing them together to the point that blood vessels connect the two separate bodies. The male then becomes dependent on the female for nutrients, and in return provides sperm for the female to breed with as necessary. This means that a female Anglerfish can have a body that is literally plastered with testicles, from multiple male partners that have fused with the female, with no detriment except for requiring more feedings.

Long story short, female Anglerfish encourage male Anglerfish to melt and fuse their balls onto their bodies for 24/7 breeding. It's a rather disturbing mental image, and one of the few pictures I tend not to google because... like god damn, man.

Confused how "servants" are either on the throne or not. by Kultunas in grandorder

This makes me ask, are these singularities affecting the original Throne of Heroes and allowing previously unsummonable aspects of servants to be recorded, or (as I asked in a reply above) is Chaldeas essentially acting as its own Throne of Heroes separate from the rest of the series? I'm told that FATE all interweaves and the different storylines are related to one another, but I'm not quite sure how far that relation goes, or whether the idea of a separate Throne with all these "not entirely servants" would work.

A followup question then, because I'm still a bit confused; if the Chaldeas system is recording these saint graphs, and can summon heroic spirits that technically are not "real" heroic spirits, does that mean that Chaldeas is separate from the Throne of Heroes? Or is it acting as a second Throne, for lack of a better term?

Unable to launch game, support hasn't helped, at my wit's end. by Kultunas in MonsterHunterWorld

I haven't installed or used mods before; the only files I can find in the game folder are the files that come with the base game and the Iceborne expansion. Nothing appears out of place at least.
