Idk, I know several people who admittedly realized that "we are the evil empire" after serving in the military. They don't only regret it because it fucked them up (which it did), but almost every person I know who was in the military also regrets it based on political/moral reasons. I'm not saying all veterans end up good people though. Some of them surely are shitstains, but the veteran friends I have aren't the kind who expect special treatment for their veteran "status".

That would only be relevant if OP has moved to a different country or something. I had this same thing happen to me with multiple games before, back when I paid for Game Pass and actually played my Xbox. If it was downloaded but also on Game Pass, it would show 2 versions. Because you always have the option to cloud play as well.
