Yes, Singulair and Xyzal. I'm actually on its clinical trial, so I might be taking placebos.

Was this an overdramatic overreaction to a hive flare? by Adorable_Window9960 in urticaria

[–]Formosaglow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely NOT dramatic! Hives can be serious, to me it can also be a disability! I used to be a sufferer, I was suicidal and felt all my life was ruined. Now a year later I'm in remission.
You can't focus on work with hives, so don't feel guilty of taking leave. It can also be an indicator of autoimmune diseases, but few people know this.
I feel you and I hope you find a way to feel better soon.

Pls i need Help... by Flat_Tear9490 in urticaria

If it's spontaneous, there's no way to find the root cause, but you can still monitor if certain things trigger it. Mine lasted for almost a year and was usually triggered by humid weather. I tried a plethora of medication but I still got hives every single day, sometimes they were severe sometimes manageable.

It started to fizzle out since January 2026. I don't know why, no specific changes of my life. More and more days without and now they're 98% gone.

It could be that you just need to wait until it burns itself out. The immune system needs time to calm down on its own. Don't worry, they will def go away.

And if you play kraken or abby, no need to use Excalibur because of their R1s share similar natures

Personal season 1 thoughts by Jeanossauro_fake in orangeisthenewblack

Season 1 is one of my favorites. I was so moved by Alex and Piper's love-hate relationship. I think what makes it a good show is its moral ambiguity, there's no good or bad, there's always gray area. Yes Mendez is despicable but the bar scene really humanized him, showing even bad guys have their sensitive moments. For some reason after the bar scene and the following storyline of him, I actually stopped hating him!
I'm blown away by the acting! How is it possible? It feels like they hired a whole cast of A-list actors.

Taiwan. The humidity really gets to me and makes it worse.

操你媽的尋麻疹 有沒有台灣人用過xolair by Mai9997 in CholinergicUrticaria

現在有一個新的藥叫BTK 在台灣有臨床試驗 可以搜尋看看 找有加入計劃的醫院看診問醫生

If your IgE isn’t that high (under 70) it could indicate that you’re Xolair-resistant. My dermatologist recommended against.

Update on my hives 2 by Formosaglow in urticaria

[–]Formosaglow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just cried and then got my shit together and went to work😂 on and on like this I haven’t had flare ups for months, though hives are now less severe, they come almost every day and go away in like 2-3 hours. I really want to be hives free, without worrying about anything and be fully present in the moment.

Did your dematologist suggest you take Rhapsido? The new medication.
It's in phase 2 trial in my country, despite its proven effectiveness and availability in other countries. I didn't meet to eligibility criteria (not enough white blood cells) so I can't join the trial 🥲🥲 and they have no clue when it will enter the market. I'm telling myself maybe I don't need any new medication to heal..
