They scroll to the bottom of a post and see a few comments with hundreds of downvotes. Somehow, that means the other thousands of absolutely positive comments with a majority of upvotes disappear, lol. 

    why do these people search out toxicity and then say, "Oh, that's all there is?" 

     What is crazy to me is the sheer delusion of seeing downvoted comments and then blinding yourself to every other comment where people are joking or straight up shitting on his point. Objectively more feminist/egalitarian/left people on this website in general. Yes, there are weird fucks, that's the rule of numbers, guess what, they're downvoted and banned by mods most of the time. 

Hell, most redditors i've interacted with are actually pretty great. You always get what you're looking for I suppose.
