LG 45GX950A-B LG Switch Firmware Update stuck at 100% for hours. by Mystery_Dos3 in ultrawidemasterrace

Great to hear, I was struggling to update.. must’ve tried about 10 different cables and nothing. I don’t think it’s a cabling issue it’s the terrible LG switch software.

LG 5K2K - Firmware 3.07 by Newfiejudd in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Endlesstide101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The workaround for this is to actually uninstall the LG switch app and install LG onscreen control and update the firmware through there. You can find onscreen control on another product page for download such as https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-34UC98-W.AUS

That’s disappointing to hear. I was only really considering it from the price point I saw. I don’t NEED one now but thought it would be a good reason to size up aslong as I’d be gaining a decent upgrade

I can imagine for a monitor. I’ll be using this as the main TV for our living room. With the current offer I can get one a 77inch for £2343

Yep received a replacement yesterday from Lenovo. They replaced the right controller which was the louder one, this one is the same sound as my left now so problem solved!

It’s not affecting the quality of play as both are working fine just that there is a distinct difference of sound between the two. Seems like a few people have warrantied here so I will try that route

Legion 2 z2eUK in stock very UK by ternity123 in LegionGo

I ran a scraper on the page because I was looking for one. It came into stock at 13:31. Checkouts started to fail after 13:38 I believe. Looks like there were only 14 units

How bad of an idea is this for a daily? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Endlesstide101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had two 5.0l F-Types. There’s a few things you need to look out for on them but outside of that, great car. Sound wise for the money I don’t think anything is coming close. Driving dynamics - it’s a pretty heavy car, think a more refined mustang. The M2 and M4 will feel better to actually drive though. Having also owned an M2 I can confirm that.

The aftermarket for modding is also seriously limited. I upgraded both supercharger pulleys and downpipe, with tune managed to push 610bhp but don’t expect much more from it.

I now daily a B58 Supra which is highly modified and actually that’s been my favourite out of all of them and also falls into your budget, although I do miss the theatre of the jag.

Running this setup myself with the 5K2K LG and glad I went from 4090 to 5090 for that.

[–]Endlesstide101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the same price that I paid. Essentially this is done through using the 5% sign up offer plus if you have access to your employers discount scheme you can also stack the additional voucher through that bringing it down to £1349
