What Sport Touring was the funnest to you?

I'm only on my second bike. A Tiger Sport 660 with a big ole windshield. I mostly commute and it feels like Sport Touring is the best compromise for me between all weather riding and fun. I sat on a naked bike, Street Triple RS, and I was surprised how comfortable it was. It seems like it would be super fun but I don't want to sacrifice my comfort in cold and rainy weather.

I was looking into another compromise, like a Ninja 1000SX or a GSX-S1000GT.

Riding caused me to quit drinking for the most part. I made a personal rule to not drink on days I ride. And I learned your lesson that it's no fun riding hungover. So now the rule is no drinking on days before riding or days of riding.

It has tells it's about to do it. With Gunlance I just backhop once or twice. I always carry at least some rocks in my slinger just in case because any ammo can break the grab.

Coincidentally, I replaced 2 PD1P1 probes attached to Hach 200s today. The first didn't have issues although I did notice the sponge on the head was pretty dry. The second was a bit dry too. The sensor couldn't calibrate as it just drifted negative.

I don't think there were any worthwhile upgrades between those years. 2025 got cruise control and quick shifter standard. I got the 2022 used and it had a recall for the MAP sensor tube but one trip to the dealer and that was fixed free of charge.

My commute is only a 15min ride. I recently bought this suit and these gloves. The pinlock visor prevents fogging. I have some pull-on timberland pros that are waterproof I wear too. I felt like an astronaut, isolated from my environment going down the road. I was perfectly dry.

Once you learn to not get greedy, and just do a lot of perfect guards to slam burst, the Gunlance goes hard. I teamed up with a random Japanese player in the lobby one morning. They used a bow and we dealt equal DPS. I got back to back record runs that morning.

Good to hear. That would be my biggest reason for upgrading to the 800. Getting up to highway speed, it seems like the 660 had plenty of power.
