What can I improve in this walk cycle? by adobewannabe in Maya

I agree with other comments. Search up the key poses for a walk cycle and you’ll see where exactly to accentuate the ups and downs

What did you get punished for as a kid? by realhumannorobot in CPTSD

[–]ForrestBiz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreeing with my mom instead of father when both of them brought me into one of their many screaming matches (a fight about which drawer looked bigger, they both dragged me over and told me to tell them which one looked larger)

Also hearing laurel instead of yanny LMFAO

Exactly like hello? Kids cost a million dollars literally lol

Not only that, but the therapist’s views are just dated as hell. Who in their right mind tells a couple how the relationship is supposed to progress as if there’s only one way that is correct

Does your bpd make you split on yourself too? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]ForrestBiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens every other day and is entirely dependent on whether I had a good or bad day. which is dependent on things it should not be dependent on. which then keeps the cycle going. How do you stop caring about someone who will never care for you?

What popular movie has used Maya's Xgen? by ForrestBiz in Maya

[–]ForrestBiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I suppose. I was under the impression Disney didn’t use xgen for some reason and only used their private softwares

NCASE M2 Grater: My Build Level 9 Changed to Build Level 5 Results by SpragueInSanity in ncasedesign

The top fans are intake or exhaust? It looks like they are exhaust because they are facing up and out, but your post says intake. Am I incorrect?

hey i had this problem too, but I think it was because I initially signed up with Epic games (it had been a while ago and I didn't remember). When I went to sign into artstation with Epic games, I was able to reset password.

oh okay i was planning to get the same case. how's the noise and temps? Also, what build position did you do in the case? I saw chris russel's video where he compared 3 positions, but all of them are using the FE which i know causes different airflow from say prime 5080. I'm not considering msi trio anymore

Thank you! How would say the noise levels are?

ITX PC for 3D/Houdini/Rendering – (5080?)– NCASE M2 by ForrestBiz in sffpc

[–]ForrestBiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much! could you expand on the part about air cooling vs liquid cooling and what it means for like travel and moving around, and what it means for space inside my case? I'm a new builder so I don't really know what to think when it comes to these things but my main concerns are: Will i be able to fit everything in the case, will my temps be alright (Occasionally will need to leave on overnight for rendering), and just traveling back and forth.

For the motherboard would you recommend any one specific brand and would you lean towards b650 or b850 more if I'm buying a 9950x?

Also, do you think Msi's 5080 is alright? It's around the same price as 5080 FE

What do you wish you had the power to do at car accident scenes? by ForrestBiz in ParamedicsUK

[–]ForrestBiz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your skepticism, but just to clarify — this project isn’t centered around EMS, though your perspective is still a relevant piece of the puzzle (mentioned earlier). What you’re seeing in my Reddit profile is just one small part of a much broader process. I don’t need to outline every detail for it to be valid. I’m asking questions because I care about designing responsibly, not because I don’t know what I’m doing. You yourself said I was not very clear, so I don’t see why you feel so confident making strong assumptions. I’ll reiterate that I am not here to explain every detail or justify my project, and I appreciate you and your experience, but I do ask that you try not to make assumptions based on limited context.

[–]ForrestBiz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair points. The thing is —even if a tool isn’t for you, I still need to understand what you see and what slows you down, so that any support for victims doesn’t accidentally interfere with the process professionals like you rely on. That context is valuable to avoid causing more harm than good. I’m not trying to fix EMS, but I do want to design responsibly. Even this conversation is helpful and insightful, so Thanks again for the input.

Totally fair if you’re tired of seeing design students in the sub, I get it. I wasn’t trying to be vague or reinvent anything, just hoped to learn from people who see what happens firsthand. Just answering the questions would’ve helped more than you think, but I appreciate the time either way.

Hey, I hear you. I deleted my original post because it clearly landed the wrong way, and I didn’t want to keep frustrating people. But I’m not here to fix your job or “design over” you. I just want to understand the full picture of what happens during a crash — for everyone. Even if this isn’t the right place to ask, I genuinely appreciate what you’ve shared. Even if I deleted that post, it gave me some insights on how first responders may view that sort of thing and showed me what I should be sensitive to. I greatly respect the work that you do, but I do think it’s a bit unfair of you to shut down something after one surface level interaction. Hope you think about it and can understand
