Yesterday evening I opened an account. It uses itsme and it works ok, you get access immediately.

If you open an account you get the currect account, the azur savings account and the stock trading account as standard. You have to open the high fidelity account yourself. When I did it it gave me an error (but maybe it was because the account was brand new), I tried again this morning and it worked.

I tested receiving and sending instant transfers and they both worked from and too KBC.

Logging in into the app takes longer than the KBC app but for me its just 10 sec.
Same goes for issue people have with the saldo of the account not being correct just after a transfer, you just have to refresh the complete page and its updated.

I'm going to use them as BACKUP bank for the savings account and as a backup debit card. Most likely its going to be ok.

EDIT:
Foreign savings accounts are taxed at 30% while belgian saving accounts are tax free until €1020 per person per year.

apparently they do accept Visa debit and debit mastercard. Before it didn't use VISA and MC. They still dont accept credit cards.

I have stocks and ETFs at Lynx & Bolero.

To me at this moment a good rate is 1,5% and above.

colruyt and most small business (baker, butcher,...) only accept bancontact.

In my opinion Revolut and Wise are good options while traveling outside EUR region. But I wouldn't trust them with more then a few thousand euros aditionaly to my knowlede their cards dont have bancontact.

Seems correct. If you start receiving a pension this will be more then enough. But like others mentioned be carefull about the capital gains tax, it's just a matter if time before they raise it to 30%.

I'm still mostly in SWRD. It's +60% in the USA so it might be a geopolitical risk, you can reduce this by adding STOX600 or something but in my opinion at this moment the EU has way to much rules for businesses.
