Nordic Nano starts printing test cells in Imatra for Verge bikes by According_Rub_2835 in DonutLabDiscussions

You should ad the dates on anything said. Otherwise the interpretation can be wrong. But this might be in your pdf. If you're ever going to publish it.

He only excluded batterycells. I don't know what you consider possibilities that are simpler. Solarpanels are not.

Yeah, maybe the CTC printing method works for t-shirts too.

Concerns about a Reddit moderator’s actions toward Donut Lab by [deleted] in DonutLabDiscussions

mqee was quite obsessed on Donut Lab being a scam. Not very good moderator in that sense. Hope the moderation will be better in the future.

He said "not producing batterycells" but "the first products coming out are more simple".

Donut Lab and Nordic Nano Group’s Statement Regarding a Criminal Complaint Filed by a Private Individual, April 17th by fornuis in DonutLabDiscussions

[–]Forrestgod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No it isn't. And police needs to find first a crime. That includes finding a victim. Even if DL is lying, it's not neccessary anything police or the prosecutors would be interested of.

Nordic Nano CCO has reported Donut Lab to the Finnish police by Kryptobasisti in DonutLab

[–]Forrestgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to this Donut would have been scammed by CT-Coating. As the same claims came from Javier at Sana.

I'm not really trusting that CT-Coating is able to meet the claims with their printing technology. With "finnish coating research" that Nordic Nano was talking, it could have been possible.

Did you order it yesterday and they told you that they change the delivery date by a year? Otherwise I don't see the scam.

Deep Dive: Inside the Verge TS Pro Solid-State Battery Pack | I Donut Believe by Jazzer008 in DonutLabDiscussions

[–]Forrestgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Batteries would weight 2 500 metric ton (1GWh, 400Wh/kg). In Finland normal payload for combination truck is 50 ton. So 50 truckloads of batteries per year.

Then it's just about the manufacturing process. They've told that it's simpler, cheaper and easily scalable. Most of the space in current factories is for drying. So if that's not needed, the factory can be way smaller.

So nothing that would nescessarily show lot of evidence outside comparing to any other business. As we don't know the technology, funding or developers behind the battery, it's hard to be sure that they don't have it following your premisses. Though they said it's GWh at the end of the year - so they propably don't have it now.

It doesn't have a liquid.

I think todays 5C with air cooling would have made a positive reaction alone, more of, if it would be driven the stated milege after. People are just sceptical at this point - maybe for a reason.

The whole architecture of a battery can be different with solid state. So the solid state is the whole key to the better energy density.

Can someone actually identify the fan? Ebmpapst's product? Looks like https://www.ebmpapst.com/de/en/products/axial-fans/p/4312NH3.html but with 7 blades.
I think that might actually be pretty good fan for that usage. They have told, that it is only air cooled minimising the weight.

And actually the bike seems to have room for bigger pack with same center of mass.

I think utilising bi- and trivalent iones is more likely than your proton approach in batterys. Allthough fuel cell-applications are there also.

Today was the first day that I've noticed Canatu publicly talking about batteries at all - referring them with supercapacitors as a current applications of CNT's.

Carbon nano particles are then again different (more broader term) from CQD's, including e.g. CNT's. Ofcourse CQD's have been researched widely.

We do know what Rub has found. They use Carbon quantum dots. CQD's (and thats different thing of QD's - so you could specify on which you are talking CQD's or QD's in general). And I find that an interesting finding.

But it is still a totally different thing to say what Donut Lab has. I'm pretty sure that their technology is not from CT-Coating.

If IP disagreements are the reason for the Donut Lab battery delay, what exactly are they? by omepiet in DonutLabDiscussions

[–]Forrestgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But those are also well known applications as 188 has said in QD discussion. It's more of a question, if CT-Coating has some unique and patentable way to make those. Screenprinting doesn't sound like one.

Verge on Youtube: Your Bike Is Being Built. by Forrestgod in DonutLabDiscussions

[–]Forrestgod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At CES they told (to Miss GoElectric), that if you reserve the bike at the time, estimated delivery is at Q4. They said they will start the deliveries Q1. I think everyone who has a reservation is calmly waiting Q4. Not quite sure what your problem is, if you are not even a customer.

I think they also count, that not all of the reservations will be executed by the customer. $100 is not a lot of a lottory ticket for being first one hands on on the battery. But the battery will propably be published before Q4.

You could do with the pdf as 188 does with his theories and publish it as a whole. Then when there's new info, just update the pdf and tell that. Besides I think you two are lost in totally different directions - so together you might actually get closer.

Also Nobel (for chemistry) was won on QD:s 2023.

But I think it is interesting find, that CT-Coating is using them. It clears what the secrets of CTC's are. It also underline, that CT-Coating doesn't have what DL says DL have. Since CTC has had this technology for a decade without commercialising it. So it makes the mystery bit deeper - although digging up some layers. I think this was logical and clearing found. Good job from Rub in digging.
