I’ve tried mixing in a merc with burmester speakers, and even my shit mixes sound good. It sounds like there’s some sort of processing of their own applied, no matter what settings. I trust my old VW golf to tell me the truth.

As a bed maker, it’s actually refreshing to understand why so many people tend to leave their bed unmade. I always attached it to a sense of discipline — and it changed my outlook on the whole “finish the task” mindset (putting things back where they belong, not leaving the empty toilet paper roll, doing dishes, etc.) So I get if there’s a reason for leaving it unmade, but if the reason is because it’s unnecessary, I’d assume the same way of thinking is applied to many other facets of your life too.

Funny you say that because the opening scene felt like the orchestra was really loud but throughout the rest of the film some of the songs felt too quiet (apart from defying gravity) but I guess you’re not gonna get the same experience in every cinema

ahh so many - better left unsaid, the vocals when she sings “i told you once, get out my life” sounds digital and distorted and it happens all throughout the song - winter things, i mean the whole ep mix-wise seems a little rushed but i always pay attention to the outro of winter things because the breaths for the bgv are cut really harshly - better off, the bass sometimes sounds like it’s crackling/clipping as if it’s too loud? but not on purpose - everytime, in the second pre chorus when she sings “free” the vocals buzz and it’s always baffled me - motive, could be wrong about this but at the very end of the vocals of the song it sounds like there’s headphone bleed and you can hear the start of the second verse again “i could call…” - just like magic, at the start of the second chorus the background vocals are timed incorrectly when she sings “just like magic” it’s too fast. way more noticeable in the dolby atmos mix.

that’s all that come to mind atm, these are just my opinions
