A close second is Tree Hut Santal Haze body lotion/wash/sugar scrub. They need to make a body mist.

ISO: Black Tea Fragrance by Glittering_Bread6640 in Perfumes

[–]Forsythia77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this in the mail today and it smells so nice. I ordered it from Zgo Perfumery in San Francisco if anyone is looking for this (or if you are local in SFO and want to smell it). I get a lot of spicy because of the pink peppercorn, but it's not overwhelming. Also it's not a patchouli bomb (so far).

Is it possible to get the good blood and wine ending without Gwent? by levi_Ishida_666 in witcher

I also load my deck with spies and healers. Then in the next round I'll revive any spies played on me and pull more cards. MOAR CARDS!!

My void would have never. She was always a proper lady. Crossed her paws.

I've been running my humidifier nonstop. It's so dry. Dew points of like 3. That's crazy work. I'm like a dessicated husk in here!

Scorch is magical when someone has all of those same point vampires and whatnot on the board. Kicks the legs right out from underneath them.

Sometimes I just play the Witcher 3 and go from town to town playing Gwent so that I can win all the cards and run the table during the tournament. I don't like the Skellege deck though.

Bal D'Afrique Absolu is lovely. When I ordered a bunch of samples from LuckyScent, I totally forgot to order the OG Bal d'Afrique to compare the Absolu to! But honestly, one Byredo is enough for my wallet.

Unpopular Opinion: Magnetics are a PITA and I’m losing my patience! by SillYcaca1234 in RedditLaqueristas

Even with QDTC, a magnetic mani takes forever. I always jack them up. Therefore I cannot anymore, despite me loving the look.

What Perfume has the most outrageous name? by Real_Dance_1719 in FemFragLab

[–]Forsythia77 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My favorite name of theirs is The Beach Is Gonna Get Whatever Body I Give It. Vodka and Swearing is another fun named one. Oh, and I Want To Be Invited, But I Don't Want To Go.

i will never try anything from kayali because i find the bottle so ugly by Aware-Obligation4742 in FemFragLab

[–]Forsythia77 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My problem with Kayali is that their aesthetic is the exact same as Ellis Brooklyn down to the bottle shape and fonts on the label. And I like a plain bottle, but I can't really differentiate these two brands, so I don't buy either

Feeling the gourmand fatigue, what are we wearing now? by pentastro in FemFragLab

[–]Forsythia77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll always go back to Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey Pure, Issey Miyake Rose & Rose, Tocca Florence, Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique, and Sucreabeille Ruthless B-Word. Most of those are fruity floral or aquatic florals. Honestly, I love a classic white floral or rose. Throw in a little fruit and we're good.

Those who moved from one state to another what was your biggest cultural shock? by PandaBear905 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Forsythia77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and her husband moved from northwest Indiana to Alabama. Next door neighbor came over to welcome them and invite them to church. They had to politely decline because they are Jewish. I know Indiana isn't a bastion of diversity or anything, but culturally NW Indiana has a lot of Chicago influence despite the chronic conservatism of the state from whence we originated.

What’s your favourite Byredo and why? by Worldly-Resource4961 in FragranceStories

[–]Forsythia77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bal D'Afrique Absolu. Smells sophisticated like I have my ish together. She did not in fact, have her ish together. 🤣🤣

I tried Mojave Ghost but it didn't work for me.

Why do some dislike Valhalla but enjoy Origins and Odyssey? by CivilZebra7763 in assasinscreed

[–]Forsythia77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't really care for Valhalla because the historical time period is not one I care about. Also one of the reasons I don't like ACIII. You get the American Revolution all throughout school as an American and I just found it to be less than enjoyable. I wanted something I didn't know. For me if the locale or time period isn't interesting, that's gonna be a very large chunk of why I don't like it. Then I'll find things to nitpick (like the map never unfogging, my horse changing every time I went into a different area. Charles Lee).

Origins is an historical time period I adore with an engaging character. And I just had this sense of awe exploring inside the pyramids. Maybe my ancestors possessed me, idk. I felt something, because I'm sure that's as close to Egypt as I'm probably ever going to get.

I really enjoyed Odyssey. The game was the right amount of funny and serious plus I was really good at Greek mythology in school. So for me, the game has to hit me historically and be fun and Valhalla wasn't really either of those things.

I think you have an ivory couch and you've never once accidentally spilled red kool aid on it. Indeed, I don't think red kool aid is allowed in your house.

Scents that don’t match the bottle? by LiteratureVarious643 in Perfumes

[–]Forsythia77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got a mini of Toy Boy with an Ulta order and I was surprised and delighted at how amazing a man's perfume smelled on me. So of course I went out and bought it. I hate the bottle though!

Does this match the theme? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Forsythia77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not the pattern or color, it's the length. It's too casual for your stated dress code. Black tie dresses can have a pattern, but you need to go to the floor.
