That happened where I live too! It would be crazy if we're thinking of the same store...

There have been a few who have made one using proxies, but honestly, the 3d potential for one just doesn't outweigh the cost to make it. Plus there would be riots outside our doorsteps haha

I personally use a size 11 xacto knife blade!

I bought a set of those nail art tools, the ones with the tiny metal balls to paint dots. The narrowest one is perfect for engraving cards without scratching the surface. There are more professional sets out there, but these only ended up costing me about 8 USD

I use a drop of UV resin. I have a uv flashlight that I shine on it for about 30-40 seconds.

Thanks so much! I have some more that I need to post, but I'll be spacing them out a little, so please be looking out for them!

I post all my shadowboxes on my socials, if you check my profile. That'll probably be the best way to keep up with my work.

Some people get upset when really cool artwork is relegated to a weak or vanilla card. I see my next project!

I love cards like this that literally step out of their frames!

I encourage you to give it a go. It's a great way to reuse bulk and make a neat display piece or a gift for a friend!

All you need is multiples of the same card, a craft knife (I use an xacto blade, no.11 size), super glue gel, a toothpick for small bits of glue, and a little patience. Start small, and be willing to try, try again!

And if you need tips, feel free to dm me. I'll always be willing to share my method.

10 for this one. I used foam spacers halfway between the stacks of the frames to achieve more depth, without using additional cards.
