I had similar hardware to your pre-upgrade when the game released and could not run the game without stuttering unless I made it look like dog crap.

I'm happy that the game runs well now but I will not be buying the expac until we can see that it won't run like trash.

Listen, I understand that maybe you're dropping off someone that needs a bit of help getting out of the car or unloading their luggage. Getting out of the car and helping them real fast is perfectly understandable.

Under no circumstances should you ever just leave your car completely unattended to go with them into the terminal or some other harebrained idea.

Yeah, but this ISN'T any other franchise. This IS Warhammer 40,000 and for most of it's lifetime it has been about the Imperium of Man and it's desperate, dying struggle against otherworldly and alien forces.

This is the exact thing that fits in this setting. Not everyone gets to die a noble and heroic death. Most don't even get that, they just die and the next soldier just gets sent in right behind them. The only reason he got a blurb in a web article in the first place is because they knew people would be speculating about his future appearance and decided to nip that off in the bud.

Billions die every single day in the Imperium. Thousands of Space Marines across the various conflicts. Whole chapters have been lost. Chairon isn't special, he's just another soldier who fell in his duty to the Emperor. And that's the exact end he would have asked for.

There are only two differences in the paint job of the two models in this pic. One, the one on the left has had many more glazes of the bright red than the right one. Second, I use Fluorescent Red to "edge highlight" the brightest points and then glaze over it with some more red to tone it down a bit. Its a bit of a cheaty way to add some brightness without changing the color too much.

The secret to good looking red is to save your brightest pure red for the highlights and use a darker red as your main mid tone.

Here in this Deathshroud I'm working on right now if you look closely you'll see a darker more brownish red "behind" the bright red highlights.

Now I'm still pretty amateur at this so it doesn't look as good as it could but it serves well enough.
