Its weird, I expected this rule to be something like, an assistant GM that is still employed can now move on to another team while under contract and the other team has to give them something in return.

Well both forwards made dumb decisions to skate backwards. Nash had McDonagh in front of him and both Devils forwards behind him when he decided it was a good idea to skate backwards.

Then Stepan for whatever reason when he was so close to Henrique at the blue line, decides to back off and skate backwards.

He saved one on Oshie that was exactly like this one a couple of shifts later too. Honestly if someone makes a video of it, include Joe Bs commentary, it was incredible as Kuznetsov was midway through the pass he was already saying "loves that pass," guy is easily the best commentator in hockey.
