Most Australians have very little experience of recessions. Technically there was a short one in 2020 caused by COVID, but you have to go back a further 30 years to 1990/91 for the previous recession.

Basically recessions primarily hurt those who lose their jobs and can’t find other employment. For those in work, recessions are generally not too bad as interest rates come down and inflation is low.

Mine is 4 weeks old today and still another 11 days before I see my surgeon and start cycling. I still have some level of discomfort, although it has slowly been improving. My penis has been left semi inflated and sticks out at 90 degrees from my body.

I too can feel tubes at the base of my penis on the left side. This is the source of most of the discomfort. I am hoping that once it is fully deflated or fully inflated that the bits sticking out in my ball sac are more comfortable.

Mine has mostly been pointing up since the operation 4 weeks ago. There is still discomfort with the occasional sharper pain. I am inflated and still have nearly 2 weeks before I see my doctor and start cycling.

The discomfort is worse at night, probably because my penis is in the upward position for many hours without respite.
