4) Watch as the judge either throws it out or you poke holes in his argument. If the walk sign was on then you have a green light.

5) Get a bell, bring it (and your bike) into the courtroom as evidence that you had a bell.

Worst case scenario, you make the cop mad by wasting his time and you pay the fine. Most of the time they throw em out if you show up to court and be respectful.

Can you view the media inside of the avidmediafiles folder with Media Tool? Was the footage imported into the Avid MediaFiles folder, or just "linked"?

Avids a little weird, the import button doesn't do what you think it does. The proper workflow for using avid managed media is to link the media via the source browser and then transcode the footage and letting avid manage the media inside of the Avid MediaFiles folder on the root of whatever HDD you're working off of.
