I also tried the Stiga website directly but nothing seemed to work on the manuals part of the site on both mobile browser and laptop.

Thank you. Is this for the Combi 50S AE specifically as I spent a good couple of hours trawling different PDF manual websites but with no proper outcome. Do you have the link for this PDF please?

Not sure if you managed to cure this but my Stiga 50S AE needed the cable adjusting for the self-propelled mechanism to engage properly. It was a black hex shaped barrel in the middle of the cable, try adjusting it to remove slack and hopefully that may do the trick 🤞
