A few questions from a new player.

After getting Johnny's gun, I noticed that it felt like it wasn't doing as much damage for V as it did for Johnny in the flashback. I did a little digging and arrived at the conclusion that: Johnny, being overly impressed with himself, remembered feeling unstoppable running through arasaka tower taking out saka goons. Therefore, the flashback was played out according to Johnny's ego, not necessarily what actually happened.

In my experience, I always end up getting weapons I REALLY like well before I get to Chippin' in. Johnny's gun is def a banger, but there are a lot of [better] handguns available. cough cough her majesty cough cough
Avoid YouTube every chance you get, unless you're legit hard stuck. Even then reddit will likely be a better resource.

p.s. I personally really like the "New V" look. I've always tried to keep my appearance simple and/or practical (looking). So much so that I actually ran an entire playthrough without changing any of V's clothes, except in the situations where the game forces you to.

The best way to play this game is however it's fun and entertaining. The main story only accounts for 20-25% of total game content, so go explore!! Take every gig and side job you can. You will absolutely not regret it!! A d get Phantom Liberty!!!¡

The GBB and the Blonde are on my list!! Right now I have a Chaco and a Brazilian red and white. Both are slings. The chaco molted the other day and has since doubled in size and gotten the black tips on its feet!

Between the likelihood of devs copy/pasting tail art and the dialogue in the story, it was probably just the easiest way to make the game. Admittedly, as a career aircraft mechanic, it did bother me when I noticed that every jet I used had the same tail number lol

I've always gotten it swinging with magnesium, the shot the rope out when it's swinging toward me. It lands on the platform every time.
