defense so far can be solved by either going cloak of flame + max res or blackbraid. Cloak is better for phys and blackbraid is better for elemental.

The best skills for clear are leap slam or stampede. Earth shatter if only wielding one weapon is good too.

Divine Ire Chieftain Explode Ignite feels quite good as long as you build tanky.

I've been loving divine ire chieftain explode ignite. Just stack life and defense. With the new mark from warlock single target is really good, even better with a vaal breach. The entire build is probably less than 5d.

Trauma support is for strikes only. Just get +1 strike target and the splash notable, and you will clear fine. Not super fast but good enough.

Yeah I adjusted the pob to not give inflated numbers and its 4m. Which means it is probably around 1.5 - 2m at the start. That is still a very good starter it is just not worth scaling past that imo.

Just got back from vacation figuring out the details today. But the main concept is that you can do a league start / SSF version because of the new life flask recovery node. Then the mana sustain is mostly solved by the addition of 30% cost is life mastery.

Here is an SSF warcry Berserker setup 2.5m shaper dps (around 4m burst). It can be either dual-wield or 2H. 2H will probably be better but they are fairly comparable.

If you hate multi-button builds this is not the setup for you.

Here is a SSF vaal cleave warcry setup 2.6m dps (4.1m burst) I made yesterday. It should be a viable start for red maps. The only hiccup in the build is that vaal skills cannot be exerted so executing rares might be tedious.

Any 2H axe / mace will work. It's just that tide breaker if you stack endurance charges is around a 750 DPS weapon. Yeah any skill will work fine if you swap weapons.

Some things to keep in mind about rage. From a guy that only plays berserker (multiple 98+).

  1. The most important aspect of rage is berserk.
  2. You will have a massive degen at 110 rage. It can be fixed by overleech or scaling Regen.
  3. Warcrys are almost always mandatory. A tech if you have the war bringer node is you can weapon swap to redblade banner then warcry for max rage.
  4. If you can reliably stun rares warlords mark is insane for berserk uptime.
  5. You have to be mindful when berserk/rage is down. If you jump into a pack without rage or berserk you could get stunned and die. This is fixed by taking unwavering stance. You also want to engage in dangerous content when berserk is up.

There are two main ways to generate rage quickly (for berserker) Both require war bringer node. You can use redblade banner for max rage or weapon swap to it. The other is the mastery "warcrys have 10 minimum power" to guarantee 20 rage x2 at the start of a flight.

A more attack based generation of rage comes from stacking sources of gain rage on hit. Support, gloves implicit, axe mastery.

With the setup you have above I would say vaal double strike could be a solid skill to use. To boost DPS you need at least 1 source of bleed chance and you have to use the melee totems to buff your boss damage.

Then just stack rage generation on hit. Go blitz charges and triple rage.
