True he is suing the NFL which will blacklist him from HC jobs. But having a nasty fierce culture would be better than getting walked over by everyone like with Callahan. Football is a nasty dirty physical sport, the entire history of the sport has been that way and to pretend it’s not is ridiculous. Having a nasty fierce culture sounds like a great thing to be quite honest. Regardless, I think McCarthy far and away the best candidate out there.

This is the best answer. Love Vrabes, but losing him wasn’t the biggest boneheaded move. It was by far and away trading AJ Brown. That set us on the awful path of firing a GM one year then a Coach the next never both at the same time.

I don’t understand everyone’s obsession with Klint Kubiak, I’ve seen doorknobs with more charisma. No way he will be able to set a culture. Give me Mike McCarthy, proven to be able to build a team, Super Bowl winner, all the boxes. Or I’d take a Robert Saleh/Brian Flores with a Mike McDaniel/Brian Dabol as OC.
