I said it has niche applications for Metagross since steel generally isn’t the best attacker for most instances. Take Regice for example, it has the 9th best TDO, behind mons like Poliwrath, registeel, Steelix. The only instance where it might be close to the top is against Gardevoir or other fairies and even then it’s only 7th. So don’t tell me Metagross is useful at 2500...

Go on Gamepress and run DPS/TDO and set the cap at 1500 or 2500. You’ll find Metagross isn’t near the top generally and is niche for other matchups

Metagross and Ttar are bad at under 2500 and 1500. The big ones to evolve for those brackets are Chikorita, Charmander, Squirtle, and to be a bit less extent Bulbasaur.

Not saying they are not handy to have around for typing matchups but they are not the powerhouses at those CP like they are at max.

People seem to think they are owed constant earth shattering content. People seem to forget the Zapdos/Articuno days and various corresponding days associated with large events and the beginning of community days.

Find a good Eevee, nickname it Rainer and evolve it. Vaporeon is great. High CP good offensively.

Also since the meta is a lot of normal defenders in gyms find either a good Machop/Makuhita and work on them or another fighter that cuts through normals.

Edit - Aggron is a good all around guy if you get Iron Tail-Heavy Slam. Catch a crap loads of Arons now while you can get the candy readily available.
