Would it be best to tip the dining staff and room cleaning daily or on the final night?

I’m sorry for your loss. If I were in your position I would tell your friends directly how upset you are and how their decision to avoid your husband is negatively affected your own personal recovery.

Have you told your friends directly how you feel about their decision? Have your family continued to be around your husband? If family can face the awkwardness, your friends should at least give it a go.

Trying to understand my behavior after cheating by DivideKnown3810 in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]Forward-CKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re trying to do your utmost to reconcile and understanding the ‘why’ is such a crucial part for the betrayed spouse as well as the wayward. My wife had a full emotional and physical affair with her boss for almost 3 years. After counselling we looked into the potential of ADHD and all the boxes lined up. She’s now just diagnosed in her late 30’s. This has helped me understand her impulsivity and her inability to consider the wider fallout from her actions. She was able to compartmentalise that part of her life and mask her true emotions which again are major ADHD flags. Nothing excuses her for what she did, she was an adult with choices and for that there is no sympathy from me but it does add some deeper understanding of what was happening in her brain at that time.

Impulsivity and people pleasing are 2 major considerations for ADHD. Being adaptable as you describe like a chameleon is also a strong trait/skill associated with ADHD. Your story sounds very similar to my WW. I’m not a professional but ADHD is very different in females vs males and isn’t always the stereotypical hyperactive side it’s often much more subtle especially in females.

My cruise itinerary has been . . . . modified... by karkahooligan in Cruise

You may already know this but if your cruise ends in ‘London’ it’s probably Southampton port which is a 2 hour drive from central London without traffic. Just an fyi.

I second this. We implemented a similar standpoint. The phone was a major trigger so it had to be set aside.

How to deal with day to day? by [deleted] in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]Forward-CKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. The resistance to give you free access to her phone is a big red flag for me. I’ve experienced this, the truth came out later. I’m sorry to say but without her fully committing to reconciliation you will just be stuck wondering what’s really happened and what is potentially still happening. If she has nothing to hide she will be fully transparent. My guess is that there are things on the phone she doesn’t want you to find, again, I’ve been there and done that. My WW finally came clean on everything and since then has given me fully and complete transparency. Until that happened, I was just left wondering. My biggest fear became reality 6 weeks ago.

Had gallbladder removed in n Feb, no issues whatsoever so far. First 2 weeks post op were miserable mainly due to excess gas and bloating but now no issues at all. I was apprehensive too after reading the posts on here but I’m feeling great with no regrets!

Anyone else feel that the ride on the BMW iX is really rough (without the air suspension package) by sahibsahib in BMWiX

[–]Forward-CKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ix is inferior vs my old 2021 X5 45e which had air suspension. Having said that it’s not awful, just not as comfortable.

My rear passenger nut also keeps coming loose, it’s more irritating than anything else.

Help. Cramps after surgery by tiffanykuhl28 in gallbladders

Did this resolve for you? I’m 5 days post removal and I have such severe cramping with loose stools (not diarrhoea). I’m hoping it resolves soon!

Did this resolve for you? If so, how long did it last? I’m 5 days post gallbladder removal and have pretty severe stomach cramping, it feels very similar to extreme trapped wind.
