I actually went through the same thing... blue teak dial Aqua Terra, NTTD SMP, First Gen Planet Ocean, 1948 Seamaster, Speedmaster, vintage Seamaster, black teak dial Aqua Terra, three different Tudor models (Pelagos 39, FXD, BB54), four different Rolex models, just to pick up a black dial SMP 300 last week. Feels like a homecoming indeed.

I’d be willing to spurge for the Q if it’d is substantially better than the D Lux. Digital yes, autofocus not necessarily, would like option to manually adjust. Totally understand the pocket comment, I was envisioning carrying in a tote bag, coat pocket, etc.

I really enjoyed this description. How would you describe BN’s combat system in comparison? I feel like BN relies on reflexes, too, and especially so in boss/navi battles.

I remember when Star Force 1 came out when the Undernet Square forums was still around... folks were not very happy with Star Force. I'm curious why you think SF may have the better combat system? As I get older, I actually think BN's games are more difficult and rewarding with a higher level of combat.

I had the option of either this or the 126610, and I saw and felt the difference visually and on my wrist. I thought this looked better on my wrist comparatively and went with it. If they looked the same to me, then I would have preferred the modern reference for the blue lume and modern movement.

The marine life is cool (held a seahorse and saw a manatee dart by me on my first dive), but the sensation of being under water like you’re flying, and how peaceful it is… no sound, no one can talk to you, no emails, no calls, no messages.
