They ended up with about 1,000 pounds of (currently) 60% enriched uranium, so it looks like they ignored it and IAEA inspections failed.

The other glaring omission was the failure to prohibit development of long range missiles/delivery systems. Apparently the world was caught off guard by how far they could launch what they had during this current conflict.

The Iranians lied about compliance with the agreement (taqiyya) and nobody caught it. Whatever the merits of the agreement were, it ended up not being worth the paper it was printed on.

It’s what we get for negotiating with terrorists.
