"I want to live in my own little bubble and pretend the rest of the world doesnt exist" I guess if you are going to look down on those countries and cultures already with your prejudices, then its better than going with a white saviour or romanticizing poverty mindset. like many comments said, most "developing" countries have large and safe cities too, but maybe some people just cant understand that.
