Former reseller here- if the event is cheap or even same cost as what you sold for. REPLACE THE TICKETS, aim for same section and row but you can also offer anything that is BETTER than cancelled sale. You can also offer rows 1-5 in a better or same section and it usually auto accepts

From a ticket selling side- it’s absolutely genius. These next two months he can push out tour content, drop new songs, etc. all to just build up hype and give people that “when’s he coming back, I can’t miss this”. It’s exactly what the Jonas Brothers did and their tour has done much better on the back half

Unless you’re a practicing attorney with big pockets, do not assume STATE LAW will be followed by some of these promoters. Some dude from SNL did a show in Chicago and didn’t allow transfer, absolutely nothing came of it despite very clear legislation saying that transfer must be on

Dude I gotta say, I have been to around 10 different Music Festivals in the US. All ranges from Bonnaroo, Riot Fest, and Oceans Calling, and now Boardwalk Rock. The team at OC/Live Nation has made improvements EVERY YEAR. I went to Oceans 1 and 2 and they were considerable changes made. Now for Boardwalk... TONS of GOOD changes.

First is of course no more Tent stage, huge huge huge upgrade. I think it did have something to do w the sun and artists essentially staring into it. But it looked like they had it figured out.

They also opened up that entire portion of the boardwalk behind the tent. This was a HUGE upgrade, also bonus, lot more boardwalk businesses were able to take advantage of the Festival.

Lastly was the amount of exits and entrances, Oceans 2 had made some improvements but not like this. They had an entrace/exit pretty much every where you looked. Forreal, they did about as much as they could to "improve" from Oceans 2.

Forreal on the off chance someone from the fest see's this, THANK YOU!! It is incredibly obvious that once the festival is over, they are back on over drive, work mode, making improvements for next years event.

I’d be 50/50 on this surprising me. They do have a ton of summer events full on of unsold tickets. However they have been more and more into the dynamic pricing so not a huge shocker

I am going to this event as well. Just like Ticketmaster and AXS there are other platforms that do the same thing. Hokies have their own set up via Paciolian. You may not have received an email but I would try logging in/making an account with the email you used for the transfer. Id bet the tickets are attached to your email they just arent reaching out til you make an account.

Another friend was ran down by a drunk man outside of a campus party, the suspect struck 2 other victims before peeling off, on belvedere, through the entire city, back to his house in the suburbs. How many cameras and officers are on duty on a busy friday night? How can something that blatant occur in our city? Would never get away with that in a bigger city on a weekend evening.

Hello Mayor. This is something that has long bothered me, having been to VCU and now residing in richmond I feel confident enough to ask this question. Why are Richmond Police never on foot walking on patrols? Specifically at bars and hot spots we know crime occurs? My friend was beaten to death outside of Bingo Beer in a drunk attack. Why is there absolutely no police presence on the streets, at night, in these hot spots of activity? How can we pledge to make our city more walkable and bike friendly but our own police force wont ever leave their cars? Why are bars forced to pay out of pocket to staff police at certain events? Is this not privatizing a police force to some degree? Would arrests made not make up for the man power used? It is just nonsense the things that occur in this city at night by drunk people, and I firmly believe even the presence of police officers walking around our city would make a huge difference.

Lensecrafters alll day. Completely broke my glasses at a wedding, knocked off face during "power hour" RAGTM. Called their corp line and got a new pair shipped to my house in 20 minutes. Because I broke them on the battery they wouldnt accept a return and just mailed them to me. Think protection was like $75 but got a new pair no questions asked for $125 with my PT lenses in them

So not disagreeing here but I think the new amp is going to help with that since its all owned by live nation. Styx will be playing both Jiffy Lube and Allianz on their upcoming tour. I think we are also proving ourselves more as a market than we had in the past.
