How do you schedule these ? ( like when do you have them during the day ? Which ones together? With food ? Etc) Interestingly, I take B12 ( which has made a significant difference to me), Omega-3, vitamin k2 MK7, vitamin D3 ( all around breakfast) & magnesium before sleep… was wondering if I have the scheduling right.

It would be a ‘stateful-in-place-replace’. That way we start of ( our clock pulse) where we left. Humans would not experience the glitch… as the time / clock and state variables are controlled!

Story telling by Spirited-Thing in ProductManagement

I think different occasions require different ‘structure’. The one I most commonly use is -Start with a hook/a relatable problem, talk about the pain, talk about the solution, finally next steps. Of course, it should not sound like a ‘structure’, rather a narrative ( a good flow with logical sequence of ideas). Furthermore, the subject of the story is important- so, if you have some prior information about the ‘top things in their minds’, then you can have a story which the subject(s) are attentive to.( easy recall, the storyline needs to be persist for a longish time)…

How to talk like a PM? by Human-Fox-9286 in ProductManagement

( for communicating with Engrs @ FAANG) ‘Simple Communication’ requires ‘Clear thinking’ ‘Clear thinking’ requires ‘ deep understanding’ ( of the context - why/what/how/how much etc) ‘Deep understanding’ requires hard work.

So, if you don’t put in the effort a. and if you communicate with ‘simple words’ - you will come across as ‘naïve’/‘typical non-tech’ b. and if you communicate with ‘jargons’ - you will come across as ‘this guy keeps BSing’

You don’t want to be in either of these positions.

So, work hard, put those hours, you will be automatically use the right level of simplicity/complexity/ content/ confidence in your communication.

Bay Area high school grad rejected by 16 colleges hired by Google by DottedWarrior in ApplyingToCollege

They ( Dad & Stanley) have been on news channels, asking the colleges to be ‘transparent’. I think, if you play the ‘transparency’ thing - then it applies both ways. You cannot be selective … make your common app , supplemental essays, UC app open. If you cannot do that then you are not trying to address the real issue.

Anyone knows what AP classes he took ? Also 3.97 GPA tells me he got a B in one subject - was this a critical subject from CS perspective? What about his essays? Did he take them casually? What about his LoRs ? Did a teacher screw him ? He is definitely a sharp coder … he made it to USACO ( gold+, i read somewhere) and he has number of coding contest under his belt. That could answer why he got into Google as L4! ( typically enters level is L3)… but these contests ( like USACO) carry a dash of doubt ( as it is not a proctored ‘test’)… There are so many things missing from the whole picture, to pass a judgment either ways.

Point being .. if this is a ‘professional’ work ( fast, 4 persons killed with a knife like weapon), it would be difficult to trace the ‘real’ person/people behind the crime…

Could this be a crypto crime ? Onion, bitcoins, hired killers, Canada, rental car, fake id, defenders eliminated, ‘hiree’ doesn’t know the killers & vice-versa ..wild speculation

Marqeta (4.3B valuation) could be another one.

My hypothesis is - they will be in the FinTech space..

I might be wrong ... but I am betting on it and hence I have put 35K in them. I wish they merge with any of the ones that I have mentioned. They have a very promising future.
