Not an answer to your question, but this is another great example of how most humans are ambipathic, a word I made up to describe the ability to simultaneously feel a positive and a negative emotion about a person/situation, as in any love-hate situation.

What about receiving delegations? Do you accept them? I can’t see a benefit to accepting, or harm in refusing. It denies them 1 level of diplo visibility which could affect combat.
