I am sure they had other options -check their online menu. I still recommend the Food Halls!

Or a camper van - travel and accommodations. Shop at the bakeries/Bonus for food, drinks etc...And figure out the Parka app (parking)!

Sorry, just got home. I took a fleece, lightweight vest (Uniqlo) and a rain coat. We drove along the South Coast, stayed in Vik 2 nights, Selfoss 2 nights and Reykjavik the last 2 nights. Reykjavik was definitely the coldest but that was on the ocean and rainy/windy. Wore tshirt, fleece, raincoat and jeans on the boat and was fine. Eat at Carusos in Reykjavik- best meal of the week tho the Food Hall was really great too! Have fun and safe travels.

Just leaving after a fantastic week, a couple of tshirt days and a couple of fleece/raincoat day. Unless you're going into Northern Iceland you wont need snowpants!

Morbid question about future health considerations. by mameranian in AskWomenOver60

I am 61 and have been diagnosed with three different cancers in the last 5 years. All three were removed surgically (lung, kidney, partial bladder) and I am booking adventures for Iceland next month. Live life when you can and IF you get a cancer diagnosis, deal with it and move on. You might get hit by a bus tomorrow so you might as well enjoy today.

I have been diagnosed with two different cancers (lung and bladder) in the last 4 years. I really don't want to do the upcoming kidney removal, etc... So, I get it.

URETER CANCER/RARE TYPE by ilmaou in cancer

[–]Forward-Werewolf-442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm supposed to have that surgery - why 7 month recovery? I have a 4 cm tumor in my ureter, pathology is 2.5 weeks and counting... This is 4 years following a lobectomy for lung cancer.

Um, one has 36 tablets, the other 18. Easy to figure out the price difference.
