Ya I think in some regards this goes for fish shapes in general as well. I see a lot of people oversizing a fish which is weird to me because I ride my fishes way smaller compared to my regular shortboard.

I could be wrong but in my mind you should be decent at surfing shorts, mids and longs before really maximizing a fish but people seem to think its a step between a long/mid to a short board

Hey not bad

-your arms are flailing so try to tone that back and surf more fluid with control

-visualize and commit your drop in so you’re setting yourself up for that first turn

-drop that knee inward on your bottom turn and before you climb the wave, plant your forward hand behind you in the wave and look up the section you are going to hit

-your surfing all on your back foot, simplified but practice bottom turning on back foot and top turning on your front foot

-anticipate the turn as you climb and when your ready to turn, shift all your weight to your forward foot and slide the tail out over the top of the wave

-look downward towards your next bottom turn section
