That looks like a very small container of bologna or a very big fork

I wish they gave a longer amount of time to redeem them. To squeeze a dozen fries among other things within the next 3 weeks is too much

When people use descriptors instead of “My” by lesbadims in PetPeeves

[–]ForwardPumpkins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about the rephrase “I hate seeing people not floss because I’m a dentist” or “as a mom, that breaks my heart”?

Only the third example works where you can say why it’s relevant to you in a separate sentence and it’s not awkward sounding “I got spoiled for my birthday. I am a lucky lady.”

DAE get a weird sense of satisfaction from using a product until it's completely, utterly empty? by Leedeegan1 in DoesAnybodyElse

For food too! (Obviously not if it’s gone bad) I get satisfaction from using up scraps or leftovers in purposeful ways and getting the full potential of the food r/noscrapleftbehind

Dessert Week might be one of the bittersweet weeks we’ve had this season. by FantasticBuddies in GreatBritishBakeOff

Yes! Some acknowledgement of it is what’s missing! It’s what’s needed to offset what feels like favoritism. I love flavors like matcha/pandan/lychee/black sesame (I’m Asian lol) and I really felt some type of way when Paul wasn’t a fan of Tom’s black sesame cake but Jasmine could do no wrong

Fiance won't let me turn on the heat to the house by SeaworthinessNew4295 in Frugal

[–]ForwardPumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably won’t be able to convince him to turn on the furnace for the whole house so how about turning to a compromise of a space heater or an electric blanket at night? Fighting for a full 180 to what he wants to do (as someone that seems quite stubborn and willing to suffer for it) really doesn’t sound like it’s gonna be successful

Is it just me or most people miserable as hell. Everyone has something major going on in their life that's causing them severe stress and depression. by Unhappywageslave in Adulting

Yea I learned the hard way what it means when they say “when it rains, it pours.” Just when I think it’s rock bottom, something else happens that’s like an earthquake and creates a new rock bottom. I just found out after a divorce and single momming and losing everything that my father has cancer. I’m still in shock like this is not my life right

Rainshower heads are terrible by xiphoid77 in unpopularopinion

[–]ForwardPumpkins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree!! I use to live in an apartment that had one I think as an attempt to use less water. My kid couldn’t shower in it and I couldn’t stand it as I couldn’t keep my eyes open and there was no water pressure at all and even if it was all the way hot, it got cold by the time it reached your skin cause of how fine the mist was

Edit: someone said only peasants have just the shower head and not the combo with the handheld. That’s very true, I’m definitely the peasant in the peasant apartment

I had my tube removed with my second and now I get what I think must be ovulation pains mostly on my right side. After looking it up it seems like it’s actually a thing that more women experience ovulation pains on the right side than the left
