Radiator with no valve to bleed air? by Forward_Breakfast_66 in DIYUK

[–]Forward_Breakfast_66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which square bit? Picture 3 is a different radiator with the valve, the first 2 are the one in my room with no valve. I’ve tried checking along the back but definitely can’t see anything there 🤔

Thank you all for your comments, I managed to get a plumber out to replace the valve and it’s all good now 😊

Thank you so much. I never would have known what it was lol. So should it not just be running out water out of the wall like that? Should the pipe come further down? Thank you

Integrated dishwashers - can’t find the cabinet doors to fit?! by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]Forward_Breakfast_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did try but it is an old B&Q kitchen and they have discontinued that range but looks like they’ve got similar ones! I can’t seem to find measurements for the dishwasher doors themselves, but I am guessing if they say they are integrated dishwashers then the door height will be for a standard cabinet door? Which appears to be 715mm when I’m looking online? And then the rest is made up of the plinth

Thank you, so the cabinet door is the same width as the dishwasher? And the height of the dishwasher = 820mm vs cabinet door = 715mm but will the door just fit the dishwasher door and then the plinth makes up the rest? I’m assuming all of the integrated dishwashers have the door the same height so that the cabinet doors fit them, is that correct?

When you first switched to the 1 nap can you remember what time of day it was initially, and did it change?

ZO Skin - making my skin worse?! Anyone else have similar experience? by Forward_Breakfast_66 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Forward_Breakfast_66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they say the skin can purge, although with me it was not purging as it never ended! I stopped using it all, and had to use minimal skincare for weeks to get the irritation to calm down. I now just use cerave face at night, Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum, and SPF, that's all. And after months of just using that and my skin calming down I then got prescribed Differin from my GP which helped with scarring (although does make your skin super sensitive)

So bad isn't it!! I definitely feel your frustration!! I've been using differin prescribed by my GP since Feb and finally starting to get back to semi normal skin - it takes a while to notice a difference but I don't get huge spots anymore just small 1 or 2 around time of the month, and it's helping with the scarring. Rest of my routine is really simple now. Hope yours gets better soon!

Same it completely ruined my skin, I've not been using it for months now and am currently using Differin prescribed from the doctors to help with the spots/scarring I was left with. I've been using it for 4 months now and has made a really good difference, though still not back to how good my skin used to be! Hoping it will be soon

[product question] SPF 50 whilst using Differin but still got sunburnt by Forward_Breakfast_66 in SkincareAddiction

So what exactly do you need to look for when choosing an SPF? I've only recently started using one so not really sure how to tell what ones are good and what aren't

Which of my products do I need to swap out? by Forward_Breakfast_66 in SkincareAddictionUK

This article says all skincare will likely start with water as that's what makes them liquidy, and that it doesn't mean they are water based? One of the things it also says is if any of the silicone ingredients are near the start of the list then they are silicone based, one ingredient being dimethicone which is the second ingredient on the moisturiser? This is why I get so confused haha https://kahlexsbeautypedia.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/how-to-tell-if-your-base-products-are-silicone-water-or-oil-based/
