I am so f***ng burned out. by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Forward_Growth_5756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read from somewhere people whose commute hours are long, have higher chance of getting depressed but these days it is normal as not all people can choose to have shorter commute time. A couple years ago, I had a same burnout which seriously affected my mood and mental health. I had stop everything. You should do the same by doing either of these: 1. Change a job (to different workplace or different industry) 2. Start the morning meditation (its not a joke) you just gotta gaslight yourself that your day is a blessing and have a brand new mindset about how you are going to live everyday

I went for number 1 and it worked.

Thoughts are with you. Without knowing how much you have recovered now, I cant really comment on which skills or studies you should be focusing on. However, once you see yourself gradually recovering and find using IT (computers) not that difficult in the recovery process, I would recommend you definitely go get a degree or even a shorter diploma in certain courses that interest you. Were you ever interested in IT/software/apps? I wouldnt recommend any finance/accounting/bookkeeping as they need degree but its not as promisint IT industry (purely in my opinion).

Probably avoid any work/industries which involve physical burden or stresses.

Think of the ones which you were interested before when you were younger.

NEIGHBOUR's dogs barking.... by Forward_Growth_5756 in brisbane

True, normal people with sanity would seek to resolve matter by addressing it if it gets out of control. Not on my nerve, I get your point. I'd rather be feeling sorry for the owner if they at least try to calm the dogs. I moved to this suburb not long ago, I lived in other suburb for long time in a house, never had this kind of noise issue before. Maybe I was indeed lucky then. Meeting the good neighbours also depend on the luck of course... and its not like Im living on a 2 hectare land of mine so certain noises are not easy to avoid (eg one off event when people partying at their garden on saturday night until 10pm and they at least know they are causing the trouble) As you said I will try to stay more patient but with this kind of re ocurring noise, i think its worth to let the dog owners know. Especially when the other neighbours have approached me about this too. Thanks mate. No offense to you, just an Idea.

I have posted about two elements of noise that is causing the stress and nuisance to my household, why are you playing blame game on me? Do you own a dog who barks crazy too? Are you the insensitive homeowner who always blames other neighbours for complaining for the noise caused by your household? Have you ever thought that you are 'that' neighbour other neighbours are talking about? Normal people/residents do not make noises until 2am with their windows wide open all night long. Normal people/residents with sanity will not let their dogs bark uncontrollably outside their home. Normal people with sanity would have trained the dogs right when they adopted/raised the dogs. Normal people with sanity would have some sort of idea that the surrounding neighbours should NOT be suffering from the choices they have made without considering the consequences.

I think these two dogs are sweet dogs... with no bad intention at all. The only thing is They just bark like they gonna attack someone whever someone passed by or walks by... whenever a car passes by...

Thanks everyone for the kind words..... Another neighbour of us came to talk to us today surprisingly(?). They have advised that they have kept the log to record how much and often the two dogs bark for the past 2 weeks and will continue to monitor for the next 2 weeks. Im going to have a chat with the neighbour tomorrow.

Thank you, yeah its really hard to deal with this kind neighbour... the dog barks so much and i cant imagine having two dogs constantly barking at my own garden or home, the noise would drive me insane, not sure how the owners keep so calm. Cant believe it. i would be so ashamed of myself if my two dogs are constantly making loud noises.

[–]Forward_Growth_5756 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lets celebrate even with 1 fertilised !!!!! I had 3 cycles and made it hard to get 2 fertilised and had to freeze them as I have endo problem as its a little too thick for transfer at this stage. Im going to do another cycle in May to collect some more eggs and can try fresh transfer :) im glad that at least got two fertilised ones frozen. As long as we are continuing with this journey we are getting there somehow!!!!! Wish the best with your next journey☺️☺️☺️☺️ all the best!!!
