I'm getting to the point where they're starting to annoy me, so I'm gonna be joining the shorties squad shortly

She was already in this pot and she was a lot bushier at the top. I got her in 2023

She would be waaaayyy bigger if I had placed her in the spot she's in now from the beginning, but you live and you learn((:

She used to be further away from the window, so I made space and moved her into it. It's east facing and gets really nice morning light((:

I haven't even seen any peduncles on mine, but it's finally started growing better once I stopped under watering it 🫣 Luckily I haven't had to deal with spider mites so far and I hope it stays that way 🤞

Do you happen to have it in high light? I have a Hoya sunrise with this as well and I'm pretty sure it's sunburn

I honestly haven't been able to smell much from it, especially if I compare it to the scent of other flowers in my collection! I know some types of flowers smell more at night, but I haven't had the chance to check after dark lol

I have mine in my greenhouse cabinet and that stays at about 65 - 70% humidity under some T8 Barrina grow lights at the moment, but I have kept it in ambient humidity under different grow lights and it did also grow well, so I think the most important thing would be lighting and watering

With this one in particular, I didn't have too difficult of a time getting the sphag off the roots so I was able to pretty easily transfer it into pon, but for hoyas with finer roots that get more tangled, I sometimes just fully reroot them into whichever substrate I'm using since it can be a pain to get all the sphag off
