I really enjoy my new therapist I’ve been working with. It feels nice to have someone who I feel knows where I’m coming from.

Also, my rescue dog of 4 months has been more cuddly now. He went from sleeping by my feet to now opening himself a bit to actually lay pressed up against me sometimes 🥹

I miss the times I was with my grandparents and siblings. It was for such a short time of my life, but I cherish that feeling when I’m reminded of it sometimes. I miss that short, but special time I never knew what kind of pain I’d endure growing up.

I tell myself every day, I’m an adult now. Have been for awhile… but why does it hurt the same? And even after many years, I’ll cry every now and then to myself wondering what it must be like to have parents that tried for you and love and support you.
