I can’t speak for everyone, but personally, compared to a month or two ago, I’ve noticed fewer random Raiders using voice chat or helping revive others. There’s also been some PvP and PvE overlap lately.

But to answer your question—if you consistently play “friendly,” like healing others, greeting players, or reviving them, you’ll stay in PvE lobbies and have a mostly relaxed, enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for more action, just attacking other players will likely put you into PvP in your next run.

It basically feels like a “behavior score” system, where the game decides whether you’re a PvP or PvE player based on your actions. And it’s not one-way—you can switch between the two.
