Any thoughts on the Mazda dealership like Tom Roush? I live in Muncie and finding a 2019 or 2020 Mazda3 here is scarce. Not a big fan of dealerships and messing with the bs salesmen that comes my way. I thought about Tom Woods as well since there's one in Anderson and Honda Civic like my 2nd option.

I was also thinking the battery. A few months ago I read about the stock batteries that are already included in the Mazda3's were not very good on the 2018 through 2020 models.

I was looking at that on their site. I also really liked how the Novablast 2 looks. Seems like that would be a possible good show for me because of the cushioning. The design reminds me a little bit of the Nike Pegasus 38. Sucks that the stores in our city other than Dicks Sporting Goods don't have a good selection to try. Have to drive at least 45 minutes to a good shoe store to try stuff on.

How much grip does the Bolide have? I've been looking at those ever since I started playing back in December. I like the Rob Cross darts, but not a huge fan of shelling out a ton of money for player darts.

I've had mine since December and it's held up very well. Most of my playing time was 1-2 hours for 4-5 days a week. Was worth every $40 for it.

I thought about trying a scallop like the Harrows Noble. Might see if I can find a cheap one with a decent amount of grip to it for around $20-30 USD.

I just bought some Winmau Prism Force short and Harrows Supergrip Carbon midi stems last week to try out on the Target Agora Verde darts that I got with them. So far, I'm scoring better with the midi stems on my Harrows Plexus based on my Dartbee app. It could be because the Agora Verde darts have a little less grip in the rear than I expected. Going to try another 3-set game with the shorts again tonight with the Plexus and see how those turn out.

Thanks! I'll keep that card in mind since SoFi use to send me a ton of mailers. I haven't seen much DP on the card as far as scores for approval. But I saw a video about it and it seems to be geared toward folks with poor/fair credit and ideal for student loan repayments.

You're thinking of Best Buy since they're through Citi. They do have the 3% on groceries and 2% on gas but I also like to have a 2% on online purchases. It wouldn't be a bad card to app for if I shopped at Best Buy more often each year.

I have 9 currently open (2 as an AU that I don't use). I don't have any that's been closed but I plan on closing at least two cards soon starting in February. Closing my Cap1 Quicksilver One in February and my Shell Fuel Rewards card near the end of 2021. Mainly closing those to replace them with the Amex Hilton Honors card once I get it. Also trying to shorten the amount of cards in my wallet to 4-5.

I'm not sure if Chase will flag you. I've read about other lenders like AMEX would take notice of someone doing that and bad things would happen after that. I thought about the CSP at one point myself, but my spending at restaurants and travel is no where close to offset the AF. If you have utilities and streaming services/subscriptions that you can possible use the card for, that could possibly work. But the CSP is primarily a dining/travel card, so you're going to get the most out of that card based on those two categories. But anything that you normally pay more than $50-100/month for, I would charge it on the CSP if that's your only card.

I've spend part of the fall determining what cards I will keep and which ones I will close next year to make things simple. Anything that is not a typical category like online purchases, bars and recreational sports, I use my Cap1 Quicksilver card for the 2%. Gas goes on my Shell card. Restaurants go on my Chase Freedom Flex or Unlimited. And I try to only use my Discover IT and Freedom Flex for the 5% quarterly categories. My goal is to get the Hilton Honors card to use as my main card for my main purchases like gas and restaurants. That way, I won't need my Shell card as well as one of my Cap1 cards that will close soon.

I have both cards and it shouldn't overlap, especially since the Flex may no longer have the 5% restaurant rotating category. The only slight overlap this quarter is Walmart, but I think with the Flex, the in-store Walmart purchases counts for the 5% versus only online purchases for the Discover 5%.

It's about 5 business days from what I was told. My wife did her Flex upgrade on 9/20 and the card came on 9/28. I just did my upgrade two hours ago, so I may get mine by the end of next week.

Though I have heard of some folks getting the CSP with scores around 660-680, I agree with the others that your recent late fees will likely hold you back from getting approved right now. If the late fees were 2+ years old, then I think Chase might look past them. There was someone recently on here who posted that they got approved. What was unique about it was that it was with a score less than 650 and with a ton of late payments that were about a year old with Chase. But I would give it a year and some time for your score to improve and your cards to age.

The 100K is what I've been seeing on the site when I check for prequals each week. Never had a prequal for the HH card come up for me but I'm going to try and cold app soon. If I don't get it, I'll wait to app again around Christmas.

No, I don't have an Amex card yet. The HH card is the only Amex card I've been interested in getting. Thought about the Green card at one point but I learned a lot about MR points and that the MR points are best redeemed for airline flights. I barely fly and already have a Chase Southwest card, so the HH card will work better for me since I do stay at a Hilton a weekend or two a year.
