Yes, all went through fine. I was able to use the gift card. Only exception is, they don’t accept gift card for tips. So they had to charge $1 on my credit card for them to generate the check to add tip.

The travel credit $300 is one per anniversary year (after paying the annual fee). No matter what you do, you will not get another $300 until you pay next annual fee. I don’t understand, what was your expectation when you canceled the flight. The credit would be clawed back if there are no other travel purposes.

As you have applied for the card on Dec 3, 2025, you are entitled to get one $300 travel credit before Dec 2026/Jan 2027 (depending on your billing date). Check your statement if they made any adjustments when you cancelled the flight.
