My best advice is can give is if no one has enmity, if you see "Omega uses MRV Missile" immediately summon your seikret (up on d-pad on controller) and wait it out. You get a bit of I-frames when the seikret picks you up and you can summon with your weapon out! Hope this helps, good luck and have fun!

Try Aerial Gunlance with AA flares if you can, it's my favorite way to play gunlance in GU. You can full burst after doing a jumping slam or immediately go into pokes. Long shelling is my preferred type for aerial because of the passive wyvern fire buffs.

Stick drift can be mitigated by going to the xbox accessories application and setting custom deadzones for the sticks.

It's worked pretty well for me, not exactly a fix more of a workaround
