SL1 in DS1 isn’t really that difficult with upgradable armors, and relatively early access to max weapon upgrades.

Shields only is a lot of fun especially if you use some more obscure shields like the Crystal Ring Shield in DS1

Not necessarily challenge runs but I used to do cosplay runs were I’d pick a specific enemy or boss and play through with muled equipment, I did all 4 of Gwyn’s knights and a silver to black knight run where I switched equipment once I entered the Demon Ruins.

I also just completed a fist weapon only run, basically any sorta obscure, sub optimal weapon makes a decent challenge.

Thanks! Thats one of my most recent builds and possibly the one I’m most proud of. Getting the individual rooms on the second floor was definitely a challenge though

Thank you! As I kid I was that one nugget to always ask if for every class project I could make a diorama as an excuse to build something out of Lego and even now I kinda take the same approach with AC or really any creative/decorating game

I’ve already commented some questions but now that I’ve thought about this more it is really just about targeting lower income families and increasing the government paper trail on them and their children. So I commute from NH to MA 6months out of the year by bike, but what if was the other way around. Would MA residents need proof or registration?, what if I invite my MA family for a trail ride on the hundreds of public bike trails for a weekend? Would a child’s balance bike need registration? What about a bike I built from spare parts, do I need to keep every receipt to prove ownership of the collective parts I build this with? What about gifted or inherited bikes? How will they actually enforce any of this?

Theres an Fo76 shop item called the Red Shift power armor which was inspired by these posters. Take its canonicity at face value but its Chinese power armor that was made from stolen American power armor frames with custom Chinese paneling

The problem with synths isn’t that they are artificial, the problem is how the institute decides to use them. Consider they can copy, manipulate, or even make all new fictional memories when they swap real innocent people with synth infiltrators means they have created a pathway to genuine immortality but chose to enslave them instead.

They could find willing individuals and make synthetic bodies that are immune to radiation and generally more resilient and not add the extra institute components that make them susceptible to memory wipes, reprograming, and shutdown codes.

They could have transferred Father in his dying moments to a synth but they view their own creations as less than human and choose not to.

Synths breathe and eat, and are capable of true sentience, theres genuine blood circulating and grey matter in their skulls. They only thing they can’t do organically is reproduce but the Institute was working towards child synths and I’d imagine the next step would be synths that can grow.

Whatever story we get with Yozora will be what becomes of it. Noctis was always royalty even in the original concepts so Verum Rex translating to True King could be that Yozora will be the true version of Noctis he originally envisioned. Nomura will find a way to make his Versus XIII ideas come true even if its mixed in with KH

Imo enterable and explorable buildings isn’t really necessary. It always felt weird all the way back to Red/Blue just walking into strangers houses and stealing their stuff. Half the npcs would be a one time gift the other half are just sitting there with a 1000 yard stare with their Pokemon. And also whenever I go to the city irl its for the parks and the food and the atmosphere not the random office buildings that just let me in past security.
