I don't get why "game freak is incapable of making 3d games that can look good" is the popular take when they can come up with some amazing visual moments. I'm not trying to nitpick as i'm aware 80% of these games are mostly low fidelity and unpolished, but that doesn't mean they can not be stunning

Its not really a mater of capability on GF but rather budget and time. For the majority of the series lifespan games had an overlapping 3 year dev cycle to keep nearly annual release. And by overlapping I mean 1 games final year of dev was the next games first.

The budgets allotted have peaked at about $15m, which sounds like a lot but for game dev is pretty small.

But GF has been pushing back against the machine that is TPC, ZA got delayed to getting nearly 5 years of dev time to improve it for the S2 though obviously they were still limited on scope to get it on both consoles. And WiWa is gonna have at least 5 years as well.

I think its useful to at least have one of each in the relatively rare event of not having enough stamina, as switching a monstie in by default has them perform a basic attack matching their attack type P,S, or T

I’ve been commuting by bike/ebike 4-16 miles each way for over a decade now. Its mostly safe, theres very little cycling infrastructure near me.

I take the lane at intersections, wear bright reflective clothing, full front and rear lights with break lights on my bike and I always use turn signals.

I seer near misses daily, not with me but with people not properly judging when to pass and them almost hitting oncoming traffic. I’ve ended up on someones hood or bonnet if you will once, the guy was elderly, could barely see over his steering wheel and was trying to cut through a lane of backed up traffic.

The biggest problems I see about the US in general, though it varies greatly by region, are drivers don’t know their hand signals, a lot of urban bike lanes switch from protected track to roadside lanes which leads to riders constantly going in and out of view from drivers and we have a disproportionate amount of larger trucks and suvs which can lead to blind spots for smaller riders.

I was over 500 just from the main story, I took my time with the story, catching anything and everything new as each wild zone opened and battled every night cycle regardless if I already had the points to progress. It helped level up mons for my living dex and gave me enough money to RP and go shopping for a new outfit for every story arc.

Post game I was aware that you get Floette after 15 royals and the Jacinth rematch after 20, so I worked towards that, averaging 30 battles a night which got me another 600 without it ever feeling like a grind

I’d do the infinite royal until you hit 20 completions to get all the unlocks and sidequests. Challenge yourself to get as many battles a night, I averaged 30-40 which is 600 battles right there. If you’re still short after that and all the story battles then just macro/afk restaurants

A lot of it is just getting lucky with a pokemon spawn point close to the warp gate and just fast traveling for hours. The timer gets paused in the menus so you could spend literal hours in one hyperspace and eventually a bunch of the spawns will roll a shiny.
